my dear david
Today I am overwhelmed with gratitude for my husband. To many he's a quiet man with a strong presence. He often keeps to himself, takes refuge in his "world of warcraft" and relaxes with a book in his hands. You may see him cuddle with one of our children and explain the reasons his ninja is fighting. You may hear him practice their animal sounds and include "what does Han Solo say? Laugh it up fuzz ball." You may see his passion for BYU sports. He won't throw his opinion in your face. He won't argue politics or much of anything for that matter. He awakes early each day to drive a long commute to teach the students no one else wants to teach. He refuses to take a day off because he knows those students will struggle with a substitute, and that substitute will struggle even more. He kisses me goodbye each morning while I sleep. My Valentine's Day gift was a shopping trip by myself. He's a good father and a great husband. His kisses are sweet, and his hugs rejuvenate me. My favorite thing to do with him is talk about our future together. Our plans show our dedication to one another. Esto Perpetua~May it last forever! I love you, David! Thank you for loving me.
