Lilia Lately,

My smiley baby girl!

Aunt Kristin and Aunt Janelle are so sweet to Lily! Toby was a good dog too.
Daddy and Lilia playing at the beach!
Marilyn Monroe
Pop and Lil' Boop

She was so happy I couldn't bear to make her go inside after she sat in the mud.

I'm queen and I want it my way!Her favorite books right now are our family photobooks.
Her book from the 1st six months and our book from Taiwan.

Where is Lily sleeping?
On the side table between chairs at a bowling alley.

She finally woke up and wanted to bowl.
She tried desperately to lift the ball.
She kept yelling at the balls and pins.
It was very exciting!
Her first ride on the OC boardwalk this year.
Not so thrilled. She kept trying to get out.
Which was scary cause it goes up in the sky. Watch out Disneyland!

I'm a silly mommy!

I added both pictures just to prove yes, I climbed in her crib with her. It was a serious game of tickles, so intense I climbed in and got her. She didn't know what to think at first. Her crib is her base. No longer! She quickly jumped into my arms and kissed me.

Cute story of the day. This morning she joined me for snuggles in my bed and I asked Lily, "Do you love Mommy?" She smiled and giggled and whispered "yeah." Oh I about cried with joy!

Ms. New Jersey Senior Pageant

This week my mom and I participated in the Ms. New Jersey Senior Pageant. Mom came in at 2nd Runner-Up and I was the choreographer. Wednesday we rehearsed all day!! Thursday afternoon was the pageant. It was a rollercoaster ride. The women were all over the age of 60 yrs, one as old as 87 yrs. They were very sweet and worked hard but some of them were absolutely clueless. It was a long day but I loved it and look forward to next year! I also performed in a production number of "Lady in Red". It was great to be on stage dancing again!

I made the front page of the Press of Atlantic City Life section on Friday. Its my silhouette.
caption under photo:
Choreographer Melanie Brough runs through rehearsal with Ms. New Jersey Senior pageant contestants on stage in the Concert Venue Theater at Harrah's Resort in Atlantic City.
The article begins :
"The curtain rose, and the strains of "Lady In Red" floated through the air. Choreographer Melanie Brough dipped, glided and twirled toward center stage. When she hit her mark, the young dancer raised her arms, beckoning two lines of women out of the wings."

My Lily giving snuggles after the pageant. She was only there for the crowning. David stayed home with her while she napped. After the pageant they thanked me and implied they want me back next year. I also have potential offers for the Ms. New York Senior pageant and the national pageant.Mom performing her talent during dress rehearsal.
